Objective: Establish a career as a game designer and developer in industry that makes good use of my education and talents.

Able to understand and apply good game design principles, including designing from core values and mechanics and using an iterative design process based around user feedback.

Work Experience:

Freelance Illustration/Design (2004-2009)

Primary tasks revolved around producing artwork to client specification, chiefly character illustration. Complete revision process from initial sketch roughs, through revisions and approvals and on to final deliverables with communication throughout.

Systems/Network Administrator – Santa Clara University Design Center (1999-2000)

Worked as part of a small team to support an academic network spanning the SCU School of Engineering, including repair, evaluation, installation, integration, and routine maintenance tasks for both hardware and software systems.

Intern – Cadence Design Systems – (Summer 2000)

Designed and wrote scripts to replace the previous automated build configuration management system for the physical verification team.

Student Assistant – Santa Clara University Information Technology (1998-1999)

Responsible for rendering any needed assistance to all departments within the IT umbrella, including the Computer Lab, Operations, Residential Communications, Telecom, and Server Support teams
